26 weeks

My sister in law Stephanie and I are doing this whole week by week pregnancy thing together. This is NOT our child, but what it looks like at this time. I can't believe I am starting my third trimester. God is so good to keep me busy, as this time has gone by fast thus far. Baby boy Laney will be here before we know it and I'll be able to post his real picture.:)

And in other random news, I was cleaning out Haven's room the other day and throwing out little frivelous things she doesn't play with, little toys she gets at Sonic, ect. and she was in the garage (where we keep our trash can) telling Micah good bye and she notices in the trash all of her treasures that she now wants. So, Micah (already in his car) and I watch and laugh, as she digs through our trash, picking up her belongings, all the while saying 'Mooommmyyyyy, these are mine, they don't go in the trash'.:) It was a sight to see, watching our daughter dig through our trash can, pulling things out and loading them into her arms.

BBQ Chicken Pizza

We went to a local restaruant here in NWA called The Marketplace Grill. Everything I have ever had there is so yummy and I usually get in a rut, but this time, I actually branched out and got the BBQ Chicken Pizza. It sounded good, and gross all at the same time. It was really good though. We ran around the mall a bit and found some shoes for baby Laney at the GAP on sale for 5.00, along with a little hat for him. It was fun! Speaking of babies, my sister in law, Stephanie, just found out this weekend that she is expecting. We are all so excited for her and John Mark and I am so looking forward to doing baby stuff with her. They will be about 5-6 months apart. We have already made 'plans' and are so excited. We pray blessings on them and their baby Laney, as it continues to grow and mature. We love you guys!!!

Update on my un-smartness

Okay, well, I got it back in and luckily it only hurt a little less than when I actually had it done. So, I will now have to keep this one in for another 4 weeks or so until it heals....blah, but hey, at least it's in. All is well (well sort of..)
In other news, Grey's starts in one day. I am also excited about seeing the new show that comes on after Grey's, called Six Degrees. We'll see if it's any good. That's about the only show I watch. Otherwise the TV stays off unless it's football on the weekends.
If it's one thing I love about NWA, it's the fall weather. God is so good to give us different seasons, I am so thankful!
Okay, that was the longest update...

I am so unsmart sometimes....

So last night, my nose ring came out. I didn't realize it until the evening when I was laying in bed. I freaked and Micah came to help me look for it and we couldn't find it.
So this morning, I tried to get my ear ring in it (just so the hole wouldn't close up) and I found it, but after I had almost made another hole right beside it.:) So, now I have a red dot on my face that looks like a zit!! Not too smart, however, I am going to go as soon as the mall opens and get another one so that I can put it in ASAP b.c I will be really mad if it closes up and I can't get anything in it! I do NOT want to do it again......aagghh!! I'll let you know how things go.
In other news, my dear friend, Kristin's birthday is today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KRISTIN! I love you. I hope you have a great day and have fun in Florida!!! Be safe.

The weekend

We went and registered this weekend for the baby. I realize it's a bit early, but I figured with the holidays coming up, it would get quite busy, and it's nice to have it done early.:) We enjoyed it. The only thing I can't seem to find is some bedding. We want to do more of a modern 'theme' and do like a chocolate brown and green and so far, we haven't found anything. (at least nothing that's under $300!!!) So, if any of you know of any cheaper places to find bedding, let me know. I checked www.ikea.com and couldn't find anything.
I had my first cup of coffee in about 6 months yesterday. I had a pumpkin spice latte at Starbuck's and it was yummy. Once we dropped Haven off with my mom for the evening, we went back home and played golf inside the house with his putter golf club. It was raining outside, and we were bored, so there you go.:) It was fun.
The HOGS won on Saturday, that's always good, so I guess Houston Nutt will get to stay for a bit....we'll see.

Oh, I can hardly wait!!

Exactly one week until my favorite show is on with all new episodes....Grey's Anatomy. We can finally find out Meredith's big decision...who she is going to choose. Oh the drama. I can hardly contain myself!:)

I had my 24 week check up today. Baby Laney is doing well, strong heartbeat. Haven got to listen this time and was so excited!:)
Micah is home and I am so thankful. It seemed like forever ago that he left.....God is good to keep him safe while he travels, as well as Haven and I, while we are here.
That's about all in the Laney home lately.

Princess Who??

She does look like quite the princess, although, after this was taken, it was her bedtime and she threw a major fit (as Micah is out of town, and I guess she thinks she 'can') and hid under her bed. As my belly is not getting any smaller, I couldn't go under there and get her and, needless to say, it was a long, drawn out process, complete with a spanking or two and talking it out and then the lovey dovey stuff at the end.....ANYWAY, she is a princess in these pictures and my cousin Erin made her the outfit for her birthday. She is into posing these days, I just put the camera up there and she goes at it. It's been fun to watch her as she does get older and more 'into her own'.
I truly love her, no matter how high maintenance she is!:) Keeps her mom and dad on their toes.

A harmless crush??

Okay, so everytime I go to the mall these days, I find myself staring at the huge, 6 foot poster of Patrick Dempsey (oh yeah, and Ellen Pompeo, aka 'Meredith') in the window of New York and Co. It's so sad, because I seem to do a double take every time. (they have changed the picture of them several times for variety I suppose) I guess it's just a harmless crush, and hopefully not borderline obesession, although Micah may disagree with me.:) Haven and I were window shopping in the mall this afternoon and I window shopped a little too long at that particular window, that I wasn't even watching where I was going. Good thing there wasn't too many people there, as I would've run into someone!! That's quite sad, considering I'm HAPPILY married and am 28 and have almost 2 children. DEFINITELY a harmless crush.

Haven's Birthday

We had a great time on Monday with our family and celebrating Haven's 4th birthday. Here are a few pictures. She got a lot of princess stuff, so she enjoyed dressing up. She also got a Razorback cheerleading outfit and a dance outfit. She has enjoyed all of her things thus far.
